2025: A Year of Connection
In 2025, Nana’s Books Foundation brought thousands of thoughtfully selected books into schools, classrooms, and libraries across the country. Each distribution created opportunities for children to read, ask questions, build understanding, and connect with stories that reflect experiences in their own lives and the lives of others.

WINDSOR, VERMONT
Bringing the Books to Life
In March 2025, Windsor School became Nana’s Books Foundation’s first recipient in Vermont. The Foundation delivered 806 books, providing new resources for the school library and classroom collections.
But the visit went beyond placing books on shelves. Students gathered for a schoolwide presentation, explored the new titles, and spent time reading and talking about the stories in their classrooms.

Questions That Build Understanding
On April 7, Nana’s Books Foundation delivered 613 books to St. Anthony Catholic School, providing new titles for students, classrooms, and the school library.
The books also opened the door to conversation. During the visit, students asked thoughtful questions about Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory loss, and disabilities, creating an opportunity to build understanding and compassion.

Books for an Entire School Community
Nana’s Books Foundation brought 1,708 books to Madison County Central School, expanding access to thoughtfully selected stories for students, classrooms, and the school library.
The distribution reached children across grade levels with books exploring Alzheimer’s, dementia, disabilities, caregiving, kindness, inclusion, and other experiences children encounter in their families and communities.
