Every delivery creates an opportunity for connection. In 2025, Nana’s Books Foundation continued bringing thoughtfully selected books directly into schools and libraries, giving children stories that help them understand experiences in their own lives and the lives of others.
Stories That Start Conversations
2024
Books open the door to conversations that aren’t always easy to begin. In classrooms and schools, Nana’s Books Foundation connected children with stories that helped them explore Alzheimer’s, dementia, disabilities, caregiving, and other life experiences.
2023
Books Within Reach
In 2023, Nana’s Books Foundation continued bringing thoughtfully selected books directly to students, creating opportunities for children to explore stories about experiences they may encounter in their own families and communities.
A First for Public Schools
2022
Nana’s Books Foundation reached an important milestone in 2022 with its first donation to a public school district. Granville Central School District received 825 books, bringing stories about Alzheimer’s, dementia, disabilities, caregiving, and other life experiences directly to students.
Where the Giving Began
2021
In 2021, Nana’s Books Foundation held its first book distribution, beginning a mission to place thoughtfully selected books in the hands of libraries, schools, children, and families. What started with those first bundles of books would grow into a reach spanning communities across the country.
Notes, drawings, photos, and messages from students and educators are meaningful reminders of the connections these books create long after delivery day.
